BASS: Christopher Lawrence remixes Enrique Iglesias #1 worldwide hit 'Hero'

California DJ and producer Christopher Lawrence has remixed Enrique Iglesias's number one hit 'Hero' for the Latin megastar's 'Greatest Hits' album. The widely anticipated album was recently released in the the United Kingdom and Europe, with additional countries to follow. Christopher's impressive remix is the only one included on Enrique's album in these territories.

'Hero' enjoyed massive success worldwide hitting the #1 spot in over ten countries including the United Kingdom and the United States, where it remained for fifteen weeks. The song was so popular in the US that it would eventually re-enter the top ten a year later, the first song ever to do so. 'Hero' also officially became a worldwide number one when it held the top spot on the United World Chart for five weeks

"It was a huge honor to be asked to remix a song like Hero" said Christopher. "It was also daunting because 'Hero' is such a well known and loved song with such a definite character. I wanted to preserve the feel of the song, while bringing my own sound to it as well. I was very pleased when I found that Polydor had decided to include it on Enrique's 'Greatest Hits' album".
