BASS:
The Antiserum and Ripple launch new Dubstep with Mode Recordings
Edited Press Release
Bristol, England-based label Mode Recordings announced that their
latest 12" vinyl release, "MODE 06," which features two immaculately
produced tunes from The Antiserum
and San Francisco DJ/producer Ripple
(pictured left) is now available in record stores worldwide.
The Antiserum
& Ripple collaborated on side A: "Dungeon Waltz"
"Dungeon Waltz" has become a bit of an anthem in the Dubstep community.
A minimal dubstep beat unfolds into a haunting tripleted arpeggio,
followed by cold and ghostly pads. A quick turnaround at the drop leads
you into a hard-as-nails bass assualt. This is the next level in
dubstep production.
The track is supported by DJ's CASPA (Dub Police), Luke Envoy
(Storming), DJUNYA (Narcohertz), Paul Rose (SCUBA), Youngsta (Tempa,
RinseFM) and has been featured on N-Types RinseFM shows (July 30th,
2007 and August 6th, 2007).
Antiserum's flip side is B: "Skullfucked"
"Skullfucked" presents ethnic tinged strings underlying dangerous
basslines with ghostly tinges of dub calling from the sub-bass void. A
must have for all bass fiends! The 12" is available worldwide this week.
In the UK, look for it at CHEMICAL RECORDS
and at REDEYE RECORDS.
Ask for it at AMOEBA - S.F., L.A. or Berkeley.
Dowloads available at BEATPORT.
