2009 Backspace Writers Conference announces dates, faculty additions

Backspace announced that registration has opened for the 2009 Backspace
Writers Conference, which will be held May 29-30 at The Radisson
Martinique in New York City, as well as a dozen new literary agent
faculty members. Also, the Backspace Agent-Author Day kicks off the
event on May 28 with small-group meetings that include query letter
critiques and agents' comments on authors' opening pages using a "Two
Minutes, Two Pages" format.
Attendance for
the Agent-Author Day is limited to 75 registrants. The regular
Backspace Conference program beginning on May 29-30 has room for 200.
Attendees may register for one program, or for both. In addition, Bella
Stander and Ron Hogan are offering a bonus session Thursday evening
from 4:30 - 6:00 "Polish Your Pitch!" Cost for this extra session is
$45. Participation is limited to 35 people, and you must have a
completed manuscript.
Backspace also announce that in addition to the faculty members already
